Eat.


Have something to hand. Whether this be a chocolate bar, a bit of Christmas cake, mince pie or a nice bit of cheese (we all like cheese!).


Think about where it came from, is it home made, bought from the local supermarket, what is its origin? What are the ingredients, where did they come from.


Don't feel guilty about eating it, treat yourself.


Engage your senses, how does it smell, how does this make you feel. does your tummy growl. Do you salivate at the smell of it.


Eat it slowly. Focus on the feel in your mouth and the taste on your tongue. Channel all of your thoughts into eating it. Close your eyes, do not let other senses get in the way.


How does it make you feel?


Taking your time over it, increases your enjoyment of the way you eat.
