Door Number 8

Mindful Waiting.

We all hate to queue.

But, this time it will be different, if, you have your mindset switched on. If you are heading into town and get stuck in traffic, or are standing in a long line in the toy shop, or, waiting for a gift wrapper to help you - this is enforced. Embrace it.

You are on pause. On freeze for a few minutes. take advantage of this. Exercise your mindfulness.

Concentrate on your surroundings, view it all in slow motion. How does this make you feel? Less frustrated with the situation?

Try and use this as as moment to reset your button, rather than thinking of it as an inconvenience thrust upon you.

You will find these inconveniences everyday in your life, whether you are waiting for the photocopier to free up, or, the coffee machine to percolate.

Appreciate the mini breaks that life offers you.
