Getting ready for a fresh start in April? - We have everything crossed too!
Michelle Brown, Owner and Manager of Lockes Hairdressers in Oulton Rise, Northampton is reliant on reopening soon. She has her sights on the 12th of April, like many other businesses currently.
Michelle, started the business and has been trading for four years, but the salon has been a local concern for over 20.
With a salon refurb in the offing going into the first lockdown, Michelle had her work cut out.
Always keen on styling, Michelle, started hairdressing at 15, gradually working her way up to be in the position to buy the salon from her previous boss.
Michelle says, 'I have only worked in two salons in my whole 14 years of working! I've wanted to be a hairdresser from a young age, and now have three employees plus four self employed stylists'.
Michelle, is at the forefront of the hair business and is very inquisitive to learn new technology and methods within the industry. Nothing seems to phase her team and they are always on hand for a friendly welcome and consultation.
Michelle continues, 'I have loved being at home with my two year old and I’m excited to be having another baby in the summer!
We offer all aspects of hairdressing from cuts, colours, extensions and wedding hair'.
