Long gone are the days when I made a really dodgy skirt in sewing class at school.
Things have come on a lot since then, and so have the machines. My 'go to' place for anything haberdashery, is 'Sew Something' on the Wellingborough Road in Northampton.
We like to try to shop small and local, and these days more than ever, it is imperative to keep these businesses going.
The lady in charge here is Cathy. she has extensive knowledge of anything 'sewy' and runs classes to assist, which I know will be essential for me when the lockdown is lifted.
